It was a great week at the food booth in July 2009. The weather was great and people showed up to eat in droves. The profit for this year was $13,900 -the best it has been for the past 14 years. The following allocations were decided for that profit: Church General Fund $1,400 Benevolent Fund $600 Little Friends Day Care $2,500 ACCESS $1,500 Friends Theological Seminary $1,000 Word Made Flesh/Mel Curless $1,000 Global Disciples/Eric Fleck $1,500 Future Development fund $4,400 It has been a good 14 years and I have enjoyed working as a manager of the food booth. But all good things come to an end, and this was my last summer. Thanks to everyone who has helped over the years. I truly appreciated all everyone did to make our booth the success that it has been.
