ONWARD Booklet
"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 3:12–14

Renovation Update

The Renovation Committee met on Wednesday, July 13. It was a productive meeting, with excitement and anticipation about the project. Key discussions during the meeting included:

 - Meeting with the project contractor, MKS. MKS is interested in using local contractors for portions of the project and began inquiring about that.

 - The architect and interior designer shared a virtual-reality walk through of the completed project. We explored color schemes, flooring options, and other finishes.  The goal is to make cost-effective choices with strong durability.

 - MKS would like to explore organizing a volunteer group that would assist with clean-up each Friday afternoon during the project. This clean-up would prepare our facilities for Sunday worship, cut costs, and increase the productivity of the construction workers.  The committee will continue to explore this possibility with MKS at the next meeting.
