Brad Merchant Lead Pastor Brad has served as the Lead Pastor of Wabash Friends Church since 2024. He is a graduate of Crossroads Bible College (BS) and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA). He is the author of one book, Mentoring Like Jesus, and regularly writes & curates content on his blog. Brad is married to his wife, Clarissa, and enjoys spending time with their two boys. |
Brian Bassett Worship & Connections Pastor Brian has served on staff since 2015. He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University (BS) and the Liberty University School of Music. He loves the community of Wabash Friends Church. Brian seeks to use his gifts and leadership to help each person at WFC experience God in our Sunday worship services. He is married to his wife, Stefanie, and has three children. |
Mark Riner Family & Children's Pastor Mark has served on staff since 2023. He is a graduate of Purdue University (BS) and Indianapolis Theological Seminary (MA). He is passionate about helping children and families grow in their understanding of the Bible and pursuit of wholeness. Mark loves to run, watch Purdue basketball & the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with his wife, Brittany, and two children. |

Heather Edwards Manager of Administration & Events Heather has been on staff since 2021 when she, her husband Bobby and two daughters moved to Wabash from California. Heather has 25+ years of administrative experience and loves supporting the ministry of WFC. She loves spending time with her family, leading a local Girl Scout Troop, and being an active participant in the community of Wabash. |
Phil Boone Minister of Care & Local Outreach Phil has served on staff since 2023. He is a graduate of Anderson University (BS) and Ball State University (MA). He loves building relationships with others and helping people experience the love of God. Phil is married to his wife, Shelly, and they love taking trips and making memories with their two children. |
